The development of the Spa Industry in Asia is spectacular. Supported by strong global demand for Spa Holidays and Services as well as efforts of the many countries promoting Spa Tourism and Medical Spas, the Asian Spa Industry is experiencing high double digit growth throughout the region.

The Rapid development of the industry has generated enormous amount of business opportunities for Spa Operators, their suppliers and peripheral industries as well as jobs and career options for skilled workers and professionals. On the other hand, fast growth and more players have created strong competition. Some Asian Spa companies have developed strong business domains, rapidly expanding across the region while others are still trying to find their market niche.

Faced with increased competition, more demanding consumers, changing trends, newer technology, products and treatments, marketing and management tools innovations, the Day Spa Owners and Managers are challenged to excel in order to succeed.

The Day Spa Association is dedicated to providing the platform and resources to facilitate the business development of its members. The Asian Chapter is set up to cater to the business interests of Day Spa Operators in Asia. The office in Hong Kong, chosen for its strategic geographic location and infrastructures, provides Asian Members their own avenue for information, skills development and networking as well as act as Liaison for Asian members to communicate with and seek support from The Day Spa Association and other International Chapters.
